Common Questions
Before you call, you're probably thinking…
What does it cost?
A flat monthly fee, quoted after your free audit. The number depends on the size and complexity of your site, but we tell you upfront and never raise it without your sign-off. No tiered ladders, no per-hour surprise invoices.
Do I have to leave my current hosting company?
Yes — fast managed hosting is part of the package, because half the things wrong with the average website are upstream of WordPress (or whatever you're on). We handle the migration and don't push the cutover until the staging copy passes every test.
Will my site go down during the move?
A few minutes at most, scheduled at your slowest hour. We test the new environment first, copy data over twice, and only flip DNS once everything checks out.
What about my domain name?
Stays with you. We just point it at the new server when we cut over. If you'd like us to manage the domain too we can, but it's not required — and we never hold a domain hostage if you ever leave.
What's the contract length?
Month-to-month after the first 30 days. You can leave any time with 30 days notice. We'll hand back a clean copy of the site, files, and database — no ransom, no migration "exit fee".
Who has admin access to the site?
You do — always. We get our own admin accounts for the work; yours stays untouched. If anything ever happens to us, you still have keys to your own front door.
What if I just want the audit, not the management?
Take it. It's free. We'd rather give you a report you act on yourself than push you into a relationship you didn't want. About half of clients come back after they realise how much work the report implies.
Do you build new sites too, or only manage existing ones?
Both. The audit will tell you which one your site actually needs. Sometimes the answer is a rebuild; more often it's targeted fixes plus ongoing management. We don't sell rebuilds you don't need.
